Temporary premises update
We are truly delighted to announce that we now have initial premises for the school. This means that subject to the permission of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), we will be able to open as planned in September 2008.
The body we have to thank for this fantastic news is the Huntingdon Foundation, under the Chairmanship of Benjamin Perl. This week, the Foundation purchased the building at 37 Moss Hall Grove, Finchley, N12 8PE, to serve as an incubator for schools that are setting up. The building already has the relevant educational (D1) planning status and the plan is for Morasha to be its first occupants for this initial period before we move into the state system.
It will be perfectly suited as a first location for our school, and it means that, with many thanks to the Foundation, the major obstacle to opening on time has now been removed. Watch this space for further information about the premises, including pictures, in due course.
