Morasha JPS will be holding its first major fundraising event on 18th March 2009. We are delighted to announce that the guest speakers will be the Chief Rabbi, Sir Jonathan Sacks and Michael Gove MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families. The dinner promises to be a fantastic evening and we are honoured to have such charismatic and inspiring guest speakers. There will also be a souvenir brochure at the dinner and we are looking for advertisers to support this.

Whilst the major hurdle of opening the school has now been achieved, Morasha JPS must now secure its financial future. As a community initiative, Morasha JPS currently receives no statutory or government funding, relying solely on the generosity of its donors and sponsors, as well as fees, until such time as the school receives state aid. Therefore, fundraising in the community is essential to the survival of the school and to provide financial aid where necessary to ensure that no Jewish child is turned away from Morasha JPS on the grounds of financial hardship.
